Support MidPointe Library

Since 1913 the Library has served Butler County citizens and businesses by providing free access to information, educational resources, entertainment and the latest technology. Over the years the collection of materials and the services offered have grown to meet the changing needs to serve people of all ages in the communities.

Since 2010 and the passage of the Library’s current levy, MidPointe has:

  • Opened new libraries in Monroe and Liberty Township, closing two geographical service gaps.
  • Renovated an empty building to right-size the MidPointe Library in the City of Trenton.
  • Developed an eCard program to offer school children and educators access to free digital Library materials.
  • Re-introduced Bookmobile service to provide both school and community stops.
  • Launched a makerspace within the footprint of MidPointe Library West Chester to serve as a creative STEM space for children and a business incubator for adults.

MidPointe’s current levy still collects at the level approved in 2010, and adjusted for inflation only collects 40% of what was approved by votes. Passing a replacement levy on May 5 will ensure the Library has a solid foundation to continue meeting the community’s needs, especially in areas such as early literacy, facility maintenance, technology and digital information. Your Library is more than “just books.” It serves everyone and is an essential education and entertainment hub for our community.

Paid for by the Committee to Renew the MidPointe Levy,                                                                      Susan C. Heffner, Treasurer, 4935 Riverview Ave., Middletown, OH 45042

    1. Hello Destiney! Thank you so much for your support! Patrons can help in many ways – by posting levy signs in their yards, calling friends and family to remind them to vote, and, of course, supporting us at the polls on May 5! Thank you again!
